Konami has announced to release the long-awaited Version 1.1.0 major update to the eFootball 2022. With this update, the mobile game eFootball PES 2021 will relaunch as eFootball 2022. The mobile version of eFootball 2022 is arriving eight months after the initial release of eFootball 2022 for PC and Consoles.
PES 2022 / eFootball 2022 Mobile Release Date
Konami has officially announced that eFootball 2022 will release for mobile on June 2, 2022, along with the v1.1.0 update. It will be the first update since the Season 1 release in April. As per the official statement, the new update will include new gameplay, Dream Team, improvements in win/loss decision-making in online matches, and server enhancement through adopting a client-server system.
eFootball 2022 Season 2 Release
Konami will release Season 2 of eFootball 2022 on June 16, 2022. The maintenance period will last from May 30, 2022, to June 2, 2022. After the maintenance period, the team will begin with the start-up period until June 15. From June 16, they will start with various in-game events and campaigns, where users can also acquire players with eFootball coins.
How will users get eFootball 2022 on Mobile?
eFootball 2022 is currently unavailable for mobile devices, but on June 2, 2022, it will be made available as an update to the existing PES 2021 app. Current PES 2021 users will be able to carry over a portion of their in-game assets to the new version. Similar to PES 2021, the PES 2022 will also be available as free-to-play.
Cross-platform Gameplay
eFootball 2022 is already available for PC and Consoles and now getting a mobile version indicates that it will have cross-platform gameplay. The players might be curious to know whether the quality of the console game will be downgraded to the level of quality of the mobile game if playing against each other?
There is no need to worry, though, as Konami has confirmed that the game will take full advantage of the devices’ hardware capabilities. Users will enjoy the higher quality gameplay supported by their next-gen PC and console while playing against mobile users.
