Echoes of Mana is a new addition to the popular and beloved Mana series, published by SQUARE ENIX Co., Ltd. The game is a cute 2D RPG game with a gacha system in it. The fans of the Mana must be very excited about the new additional game to the original series. This game brings a whole new storyline to play with the same characters from the series beforehand. If you’re new to the game and don’t know much about it, we have a perfect beginner’s guide and a few tips and tricks for you.
Downloading Echoes of Mana:
You can download this RPG on the Google Play Store and the App Store. Even if you don’t know much about the series, you can still play through Echoes of Mana and learn more about it.
Understanding the Gameplay:

Once you begin the game, it gives you an option to choose between a boy or a girl character, Quilto and Quilta. You can also choose a nickname for yourself after that. You can move the character up, down, left, and right using the moving pad on the left side of the screen. To attack the enemies, there are several attack options on the right side of the screen. You can also dodge the attacks with the help of the dodge button below the attack one.
When you fight alongside your heroes on the battlefield, you can make use of their two important skills to strike your opponents. All of the heroes have their techniques and supporting abilities. The heroes can employ magic points to annihilate their opponents when it comes to supporting talents.
Quests in Echoes of Mana:

You get to play through chapters in Echoes of Mana. Each chapter has a story level and a battle level. Story level, as the name suggests, will play a visual novel of the ongoing plot. You can read through it all and also chose to skip and read the dialogue all at once.
The battle levels are where you get to fight against the enemies. You can deploy a party of six of your heroes to get through that stage. Be sure to carry your strongest team to get through it faster. There are also numerous objectives to meet when playing through the stage, such as completing it without losing a character. This gives you an S Rank in the stage; otherwise, it will be an A or B. The Quests also have a range of difficulties: Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. After you’ve accomplished all of the quests in the previous difficulty, you can go on to the next. Do not miss out on the chests that appear on the battle levels, they can give you tons of rewards.
Upgrading your characters:

You can get a whole bunch of characters in this game through the gacha system. To summon for characters, you have to use Spirit Crystals, which you can get by simply completing the quests. We recommend summoning 10x instead of 1x to increase your chances of receiving a rare item.
Every character has its own rarity, the rarer it is, the stronger. But it’s not the only thing you need to do in terms of making them stronger. You also need to level them up. To do so, you need Experience Tomes. They also vary in size, and the bigger the size, the more EXP points it gives. You have the limit of 70 in terms of leveling, but you can increase that by unleashing the characters. Along with levels, you also need to increase the character’s stats so that it can perform better on the battlefield. There are also Memory Gems which you can pair with a character to better their stats.
Equipping Weapons and Gears:

To keep your characters from dying on the battlefield, you have to equip them with gears and strong weapons. You will unlock this feature by clearing Chapters 2-12. It will allow your characters to equip a variety of stuff to boost their stats. You must also level up each piece of equipment to increase its effectiveness. It goes the same for weapons. Every character has their special weapon of choice, and they are as follows: Sword, Staff, Flail, Polearm, Knife, Glove, Axe, and Bow. This shows what kind of character it is, long or short-ranged. Keep upgrading the weapon as much as you can.
Do your dailies, training dungeon, and events:

Echoes of Mana also has a bunch of dailies you need to do. There are different kinds of dailies: usual dailies, Regular and Special. Each of them grants a lot of rewards and Spirit Crystals to help you summon more characters. There is also a Bingo Section where you have a 3×3 of quests to do, and once you get bingo on any line, it gives you even more rewards. Completing the whole bingo can also give you a character to awaken and raise its star level.
There is also a training dungeon with a bunch of strong enemies for your characters to gain a ton of EXP to level them up faster. Once you unlock Chapter 3, you will also unlock the Events tab. There is specific kind of events to gain different rewards from them, so don’t miss out on them.
Ending Note:
Overall, Echoes of Mana is a very lively and fun RPG to play with. There is a stamina system so you have to take a break from time to time, but still, there’s a lot to come back to. The game has a lot more to explore so definitely have fun doing that and Happy Gaming!
