Developers PUBCON has brought forth a new entrant in the racing category. Drift CarX Racing is an arcade racer with simple controls and gameplay. However, this game suffers from poor translation and localisation into English. This language barrier may seem overbearing and can lead to players getting muddled over the game despite it having very simple controls and concepts. This guide aims to shed some light on the game, its various aspects and how to get resources.

Gameplay
The gameplay is simple with most of the driving being automated. The control reserved for the player itself is not complex either. In a race, the player is placed on a track randomly selected and paired against a computer opponent. To control the car the player must press the brake icon on the left side of the screen to drift. Timing the transitions right will allow for perfect drifts which gives a minor boost in speed as well as more boost.
Drifts charge up the boost gauge which gives the car a boost of speed and allow it to speed through the track for the duration of the boost. Upgrading the car increases the boost duration giving you a strategic advantage. Upgrading the vehicle improves the vehicle’s performance in general. A race lasts for 2 laps and you must attain a lead and maintain it until you cross the finish line twice.

Vehicles in Drift CarX Racing
Drift CarX Racing currently offer 15 vehicles divided across 3 tiers, B, A and S with B being the lowest and S the highest tier respectively. There are five cars in each tier. The vehicles are obtained by collecting the corresponding blueprints through loot boxes. Vehicles ranked A and B can be obtained easily, requiring only a few summonses. S-ranked vehicles are more difficult to obtain. They require luck and more summoning. S-class vehicles have stats surpassing the lower-tiered vehicles even at a single star. Having multiple blueprints allows you to increase the car’s star rank which adds to the car’s performance as well as allows it to be upgraded further. The cars require gold to be upgraded. As mentioned before upgrading gives the car greater performance.
Currently, events are on going which grants an S-tier vehicle and its blueprints if logged in regularly. In addition the game is currenly granting tickets to pull on loot boxes. This is sure to allow new players to get their hands on new and exciting vehicles with which they can dominate their opponents.

How to get Resources in Drift CarX Racing
There are a few main resources in the game that require our attention. Now while these can be purchased with money, it is not always viable. The following currencies and how to obtain them are listed as follows.
Gold: Gold is used to upgrade the vehicles as well as create them once enough of them are obtained. Gold is earned through races and completing in-game missions as well as through the battle pass. In addition, gold can be purchased from the shop. The shop gives 1200 gold for free daily.
Gems: Gems are rarer to obtain. Gems are used for purchasing the loot box and the premium loot boxes. The game gives a daily amount of 10 for free. The best way to earn them is to log in. Every 3rd day gives 150 gems. In addition, the 21st and 28th day gives 400. thus in a month 2000 gems can be earned by simply logging in daily. In addition, the battle pass and missions daily and otherwise may grant gems.
Energy: The game requires energy to participate in races. Energy replenishes itself. In addition, 3 units of energy can be obtained by watching ads.
Conclusion
To conclude it must be stressed that the game in this current state is difficult to love despite its promise. The game needs improvements with its user interface as well as a better job at localising it in English. There are tons of spelling and translation errors which need to be patched out if it hopes to attract English-speaking individuals. the game is simple and likeable but these qualities alone cant take it very far. The gameplay is acceptable in the beginning but due to the lack of a challenge and its overwhelming simplicity, it doesn’t have the hook it needs to stay afloat in the mobile game industry.
