Dinosaur Park – Jurassic Tycoon is an idle tycoon game where you get to build your own Jurassic park, by populating it with dinosaurs, researching, and investing in the park. Here is everything you need to know before you play.
Gaining revenue
Being an idle game, your primary objective is to make money, and you have to spend money to make money. Money is made in three ways:
Firstly, you get revenue every second per parked car. It won’t be much, but a steady stream of cash will do wonders! The more cars you have, the more revenue you gain per second, so invest in the car park to watch your passive income grow. Secondly, you get money from the visitors paying the entry fee to your park. The more you upgrade the ticket booths, the more you get per head.
Lastly, customers also pay to see your dinosaurs! This is where the big money is, with tickets being far more costly than the other two methods. However, there is a catch, as it requires the customers to pay to see the attraction, and each customer has to wait for the customers currently visiting the attraction to finish before they hop on, so you receive the money a little less frequently, but in large quantities!
When it comes to deciding which one to prioritize, I would recommend the attractions. Each upgrade you buy significantly increases the profits, whereas parking and the ticket booths increase by very marginal increments. It may not seem like it, but paying to decrease the time the customers spend on the attraction makes money, too, as it increases the rate at which you gain money.
Once it gets expensive to upgrade the dinosaur enclosures, then upgrading the parking would actually, in the long run, be better than upgrading the ticket booth. Customers spend more time in the park parking their cars than they actually do for the entry cost over time, hence more money! No matter how you upgrade your park in Dinosaur Park – Jurassic Tycoon, you will be increasing your profits, but doing it with these suggestions will earn you money faster!

Dinosaurs!
Now, the exciting bit – dinosaurs! You gain dinosaurs by sending your scouts on expeditions to fetch them. Dinosaurs found will be put in their habitats, where they will roam and entertain customers. Each habitat can only hold a couple of dinosaurs, to begin with, but as you rank up the enclosures (by leveling it up to the maximum) you can have more dinosaurs on display.
Each dinosaur on the show will generate your income, and the bigger the dinosaur, the more money you make from it! The game makes it clear which dinosaurs will give you the most profits and which ones will actually decrease your profits. Always put your most profitable dinosaurs on display, and release the others, which will give you a cash bonus that you can use to level up the enclosures, making even more money. Dinosaurs do need to be fed, so keep an eye out for how much food they are consuming so you can level up your food building to provide enough for them.

Research
Research is incredibly powerful, so try and research every chance you get! I would advise you to begin researching the parking chain first, and then the meadow habitat, so you can prioritize your money growth and then your enclosure’s benefits!

There you have it, everything you must know before you play the game to make an efficient and profitable park. If I have left out any tips, you can leave them in the comments.
