You cannot reach rank 1 in one day, but you will have to stay patient if you rank well.

Yes, watching Ads will get you “Rare” chests, and through these chests, you have chances of getting Epic cards, coins, gems, and parts of other plant cards. You can also watch ads to refresh the shop, as the shop cards get restored every 24 hrs. You can also buy the epic chests with a few bucks available in the in-app store.
