COD Mobile is taking baby steps towards becoming the next big mobile Esports game. Activision has just announced a new Esports event for the game titled ‘Call Of Duty Mobile Masters 2021‘. The event’s prize pool is $100,000, which will be divided between players from North America and Europe. The winning team in the event will also book their spot in the upcoming Call of Duty Mobile: Word Championship 2021.

Format
Call Of Duty Mobile Masters is a semi-invitational esports event where 16 teams from North America and 16 Teams from Europe will fight against each other in each region in a league-style play over the course of five weeks to emerge as the region champion. From these 16 teams in a given region, 8 teams will be directly invited (previous pro teams, YouTubers, etc.), and 8 teams will come from open qualifiers.
Invited Teams
The list of invited teams has not been revealed yet. But invited teams will be based on the last year’s esports tournament final placements, recent tournament results, etc. Even some Youtubers are expected to be invited.
Open Qualifiers
The open qualifiers for COD Mobile Masters 2021 will take place on 29th and 30th May. In these qualifiers, the top teams will advance to the closed stage of the championship.
Prize Pool
Activision has confirmed that the total Prize Pool for the Call of Duty Mobile Masters will be $100,000, which will be split equally for both regions. Meanings teams from North America will get a share of $50,000, and similarly, teams from Europe will get the other $50,000. The exact prize distributions and additional reward details are yet to be announced by the company.
How to register for open Qualifiers?
Registration for Call Of Duty Mobile Masters 2021 open qualifiers has not yet started. Activision has stated that they will be opening up the registration soon, alongside complete details on the registration procedures. So, for now, players can’t really do much other than to wait for more details.
Player eligibility
To take part in Call Of Duty Mobile master 2021, a player shall be at least be 18 years or older at the start of the competition and should be living in an eligible country for the tournament.
