Chrono Trigger is always brought up when the topic of the most well-known JRPGs of the 1990s is brought up. The game significantly contributed to the genre’s acceptance in the west, along with titles like Final Fantasy 6. Nearly every aspect of the game is vintage and Chrono Trigger has long been cited as an influence by creators. In terms of JRPGs, the game is about as iconic as they come. In this article, we will rank every party member of Chrono Trigger. You can download the game from Google Play.
Fans of the series may decide to play Chrono Trigger again as the game’s considerably superior predecessor, Chrono Cross, was a bit of a flop in the Radical Dreamers Edition. The Square classic, which many people believe to be the finest JRPG ever created, helped redefine an entire genre and provided a lot of the foundation for the recently restored pseudo-sequel. We have curated a list of Chrono Trigger in which we have ranked every party member from best to worst.

Chrono Trigger: Every Party Member Ranked
1 Luca
Despite the fact that her ideas frequently fail, Lucca is committed to doing anything she can to support her friends and family. Her fighting prowess in terms of magic is only matched by Magus, and she also has a lot of useful skills. Although she has several fighting shortcomings, these may be overlooked. Thus, Luca is the best.
2 Frog

Making the most of a terrible circumstance, Frog embraced his new shape and strengthened himself with his newly acquired skills. In the narrative, Frog battles his own self-doubt and shame before facing the Fiendlord who cursed him in the past. One of the most impactful moments in the game is when the player challenges Magus to a 1-on-1 match with simply Frog. Aside from all of that, he is a solid combatant and an excellent addition to any party. Additionally, his peculiar speaking patterns in the English SNES version are cute and entertaining.
3 Ayla
Ayla is less emotionally appealing and less complicated than someone. She is a character with a lot of personalities, though, and it shows in practically everything she does. Her role in the legend explains why she speaks and moves in a particular way and how she fights. She has the potential to deliver the most damage in the whole game, and her capacity for looting is priceless.
4 Magus

Magus is a bit of a mystery throughout most of the narrative. He is a skilled magician and the one who cursed Glenn to become into Frog. He leads a powerful army and wields a cool scythe. A few of the game’s highlights are the combat theme and his confrontation with Frog. In addition to all of this, he has a terrible past and a purpose for wrongdoing that is less ethically clear than one might anticipate from a standard JRPG antagonist at the time.
5 Robo
Robo is a robot. When the party is launched far into the future, Lucca fixes him because he is from a distant future. He offers to assist Crono and the rest of the group to repay them for their generosity because he can’t recall his original motivation. After discovering the truth about his background, he also engages in a lot of existential discussions, further enhancing the sci-fi aspects of the game. Robo is a good character in general, aside from having an absolutely killer character theme.
6 Marle
Marle is a crossbow-wielding healer with a feisty attitude who is eventually revealed to be Princess Nadia. She typically has a strong will, unless the game excludes her from the gathering. Sadly, she ceases to be significant once the main storyline has moved past her subplots. She is the canon love interest for Crono and, like many autonomous princesses, has issues with her father. Marle is a terrific asset to have around during fights because few people can heal as well as she can.
7 Crono

Crono is the game’s eponymous protagonist. Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, created the characters of Chrono Trigger, and this is most evident in Crono. In some artwork, he’s one step away from being a Goku clone. He lacks individuality, instead functioning as a blank canvas onto which players may put themselves. Crono’s main flaw is that he’s simply another anime swordsman. Sure, he can fight, but he’s the least interesting character in the game.
