About Reverse: 1999
Reverse: 1999 might be one of the unique Chinese Role-playing games in history. If you haven’t heard of it yet, Reverse: 1999 is a card battle game made by Blue Poch. Chinese games are worldwidly popular because of their high-quality gaming experience and Reverse: 1999 will deliver the same. But what makes it unique is its retro-style gameplay. There aren’t many games of such caliber, most of the games are made with concepts like the modern world, fantasy world, real-world, etc. But this game will take you back in time more specifically in 1999 and earlier.

The character, style, costumes are all is inspired by 90’s culture. The game has sci-fi touch to it too. It starts with a world where the time is reversing back to 1999. The main character is looking for her mother but there’s much more mystery to the world and why time is reversing. Your role will be solving the mystery as well as saving people. Fight enemies using cards, each card holds power, you can level up the cards too. Rather than the classic action games where you fight enemies directly, they took a different initiative. But it has more to it.
Will it be available in English?
Reverse: 1999 is a Chinese game that will be first released in China only. But there’s a possibility that the game is possibly available in full English mode. In an interview of the game’s official developers, they mentioned it will be fully translated into English, and voice acting is also done in English too. They have released the trailer for the game and there you can see the game’s voiceover was in English and also translated subtitles. Not many Chinese games are available fully in English during their initial release, so it makes it much easier for everyone too. But those who live outside china might have to wait for its global launch. There’s no announcement made about it for now.

The game recently finished its Closed beta test which was completely in Chinese and now it’s preparing for its release. The registration for the game has already started and you can register it directly from their Official Site. For now, all we can do is wait for the game to get a global launch.
