Call of Duty returns with World Championship 2022 with a $2 Million in prizes. This is something everyone’s been waiting for and now it’s finally here. Everything you need ot know.
Call of Duty World Championship 2022
Call of Duty World Championship will begin from 31st March 2022 (UTC). This time COD has set a huge Prize which no game has ever done in the history. All the elgible COD mobile players can take part in it and can earn in-game rewards including epic weapons and operators. Participants from all over the world can take part in it, but only the best among all will get the opportunity to share of the $1.7 Million dollar final pool prize. They have prepared different stages and players need to qualify those stages in order to compete in the final round.
How to participate?
So everything will go according to the shedule they have released. There are total 5 stages to clear. It’s a refining process where you enter on your own merit then qualify with your team spirit and keep playing well and be the top players in the world who will fight against each other.
First Stage : SOLO PLAY (MARCH-APRIL)
The first stage will start from March 31st, 2022 to April 24, 2022. In this stage players will compete individually and those who can complete 10 rank multiplayer matches and earn 60 points will qualify for the Second Stage. In the first stage, the tournment will take place for Four weeks. Ofcourse to take part in it, you have to register for it first and take part in the matches to earn more and more points. For sign up players will also get in-game 500 credits and an Frame 2022 Competitor.
Second Stage : TEAM PLAY (MAY)
As the name suggests it going to be team play. It will start from May 12, 2022 to May 22, 2022(UTC). So make a team with players who have qualified the stage 1 and make sure to choose a proper team as you have have to play with them till the end of the second stage. You team will play 30 rank matches and every win will earn you points. Take a spot in TOP 256 to qualify for the third stage.
Third Stage : REGIONAL QUALIFYERS (JUNE-JULY)
It will start from June 16, 2022 to July 3, 2022 (UTC). But again it is divided in three weeks and each week where players from each region will fight against eachother. Among all the teams selected only top 8 team can qualify for the next stage. Two regions are selected each week. Week 1: LATAM and INDIA, Week 2: EU and JAPAN and lastly Week 3: North America. As the rule goes, you have to qualify this stage to go to the next one.
Fourth Stage : REGIONAL PLAYOFFS (AUGUST)
It will start from August 13, 2022 to August 28, 2022. Every regions fight should complete within 1-2 days and it will broadcasted in COD’s official Youtube channel. Check the image above to know dates for each region. ofcourse qualified players will be personally notified too. Now the top 8 teams will fight against in each other and the winner will qualify for the final stage.
Fifth and Final Stage : WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS (DECEMBER)
Finally the final stage will take place after 3 months of fourth stage and will be held in December 2022. No particular date has been announced yet. Here the best plaers from all region will fight for million dollar prize.
