Call of Duty Mobile Season 5: In Deep Water

Activision has just tweeted about season 5 of Call of Duty Mobile! It’s been titled Into Deep Water. Just like every other season, season 5 will introduce us to new weapons, new events, and new locations as was already teased before, and a whole new battle pass! We’re going to go over what we know about this season.

Season 4 is supposed to be wrapped up by June 28 at 5pm PDT and the new season launches right then. Will you sink or swim?

What’s New in Season 5 of Call of Duty Mobile

New Weapons

There are two weapons Activision has confirmed for the new season which are the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle, and the 725 double-barrel shotgun. Both of these weapons are taken from Modern Warfare. Use the assault rifle for mid-range battles and the 725 should be one of the most powerful guns in the game.

New Maps

We welcome three new maps to our catalogs which are Suldal Harbor, Docks, and Aniyah Incursion. Modern Warfare players will also recognize the Docks map. The Docks map will probably be used for smaller game modes.

Suldal Harbor is meant for 5v5 and 10v10 play, the Docks for a Gunfight and Aniyah Incursion for a 10v10, the new Ground Mission mode, and Attack of the Undead.

New Battlepass

Like all other seasons, this season will introduce a battle pass with 50 tiers and will cost 220 CPs. Tier 14 gives you the K9 operator skill and you can unlock the CR-56 on Tier 21. You will also unlock the Kilo Bolt-Action – Warship, the Combat Axe – Lighthouse, and more with the battle pass.

Season 5 seems to be quite inspired from Modern Warfares so longtime gamers will already know what they are in for. For all you fans out there, it is also rumored that the famous character Ghost may be making his way to CODM tomorrow. That would be so cool! I cannot wait for this season to drop because Modern Warfare was a great game and I cannot wait for Ghost to show up in COD Mobile!
