Bucket Crusher is a new VooDoo game that sees you upgrading your saw and destroying wall after wall. Let me tell you the best techniques for wall-busting and how to best spend your money.
Strategies for cash-making
At the start of each level, you will be working with a weak and pathetic saw, barely able to crush anything before the fuel runs out. Initially, you are going to have to prioritize making money, which is made through funneling the wall chunks through the tunnel below your saw.
When digging, aim for the middle or lower third of the wall, so any dug-out bits that fly out will land on the floor, and not above your saw. Any bits that fly away will be lost profit! Try to dig in a swaying motion, especially when you don’t have a lot of power, so you don’t waste fuel moving past already mined chunks to maximize efficiency with the little fuel you have. When fuel does start running low, focus on shoving all the chunks that are on the floor into your tunnel. As soon as your fuel runs out you will reset with all the money you have managed to collect. Any chunks that don’t get turned into money will be wasted.
There are also little diamonds in the wall that will be worth bee-lining for. Their base value is $20, so really try to get as many as you can!
Upgrades for cash-making
When it comes to upgrading, initially try to upgrade to maximize profits. For your first run on any level, prioritize fuel, it’ll allow you more time for profits and to tear the wall down. Don’t worry about the length unless it is prohibiting you from reaching further to gain more profits.
Power is great but the size is better, the bigger the saw, the more chunks displaced, and the more chunks you’ll be able to funnel into your tunnel at a time. There are also permanent upgrades that’ll stay with you for the rest of your levels. As soon as you can, get the money multiplier, to instantly gain more money from each session. The treadmill is also great, but I would recommend only upgrading it once to help with the efforts of moving chunks into your tunnel, so you can focus instead on the multiplier of other upgrades. With these improvements, making money will be easy peasy.
Upgrades for wall-busting
Once you have gained enough money to really start improving the saw, you will want to focus on upgrading the saw to start really demolishing it! At this point, length is vital, to reach all the chunks the wall has to offer. Prioritize this upgrade, even if it takes a couple of sessions to buy it.
Power will be super useful here, too, to really carve the wall with speed and efficiency. From your previous upgrades, your size and fuel should be pretty well-developed, but that doesn’t mean you should stop paying attention to these, they are also needed to buy you more time to take the wall down and allows you to carve larger swathes of the wall out.
Strategies for wall-busting
To purely knock the wall down, as is the aim of Bucket Crusher, I would advise you to start from the bottom and work your way up. Try not to mine the extremities or the borders of the wall out, otherwise, chunks would start flying everywhere. As soon as the wall is destroyed, the level is over, so you will want to try to cash in on as much as the wall as possible before the level ends, as your money stays with you!
Also, keep in mind that your fuel doesn’t deplete unless you are actively moving, so you can release your finger and let the chunks roll down into your tunnel! Once you are satisfied with the amount you have cashed in on, you can make light work of the edges to finish your wall. Well done!
