Electronic Arts said earlier in 2021 that it was developing a separate mobile version of Battlefield, one of its most successful series. EA has now finally begun with its closed beta testing for Battlefield Mobile.
Battlefield Mobile will be a free-to-play title with cosmetic goods included. Battle Passes, collectible cosmetics, and unlockables will all be exclusive to the mobile game. The game is still in production, according to EA, and will only launch with the Grand Bazaar map and the traditional Battlefield Conquest mode. There will be no cross-play.

Players already know what to anticipate from a new Battlefield game: massive battles, massive maps, vehicular action, and pure spectacle. The fandom can expect a competent experience on mobile, with everything they’ve enjoyed about the franchise for years on console and PC.

What distinguishes Battlefield from Call of Duty is that the former focuses on presenting a big playground of a map, as opposed to COD’s tight, claustrophobic character. While some players may find the scale disconcerting due to the constant barrage of information, others may love the sense of grandeur and space for experimentation it provides.
In a market dominated by PUBG/BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile, it will be interesting to watch how EA and Battlefield Mobile fare. The game’s initial few screenshots suggest a Battlefield experience that purists will like; but the true problem will be attracting new gamers away from COD and PUBG.
What we know about the Beta Test
Battlefield Mobile’s beta, according to rumors, will only have one map and game mode. While this may appear to be sparse at first, keep in mind that this is only the beta version of the game; the full version will have many more game modes and maps.
To reiterate, Industrial Toys, helmed by Alex Seropian, is developing Battlefield Mobile. A dedicated crew has been formed to focus on the development of the mobile game. Overall, the Battlefield team, DICE studios, and other partners collaborated on the project.
All progress gained within the game will be wiped out at the end of the test. Battlefield Mobile is available for phones running Android 7.0 and higher.
