505 Games hopes to offer a gateway into the realm of simulation racing games in a bite-sized format with Assetto Corsa Mobile. Although the game was built from the ground up for mobile, it still has elements of its PC and console predecessor. The sound effects and tracks, for example, are based on those found in Assetto Corsa.
Assetto Corsa Mobile was featured for the first time today on Twitch as part of PocketGamer’s LaunchPad stream for mobile games.
Fans of simulation racing games will be thrilled to learn that the game will include 59 official cars and 500 automobile liveries to pick from, which will add to the impression of authenticity. Similarly, nine completely licensed circuits are available to race on, including the following:
- Vallelunga
- Imola
- Laguna Seca
- Brands Hatch
- Red Bull Ring
- Zandvoort
- Mugello
- Silverstone
- Barcelona

Games Modes in Assetto Corsa Mobile:
There will be six different game modes in Assetto Corsa Mobile. Before moving on to the other modes, players can practice with the various cars and circuits in Free Practice to gain a feel for them. One of them is Classic Race, which is a familiar racing format in which the goal is to finish on the podium.
In Time Attack, players will attempt to break a record in one lap, while Endurance will need them to hit checkpoints to acquire additional time and improve their score. Overtake mode is similar to this, but instead of gaining time, players get time by overtaking. Finally, in Speed Camera, players attempt to clock in at insane speeds at certain spots around the track to achieve the maximum possible score.
Overall, the game seems interesting to play in terms of racing games with stunning graphics for mobile devices. It will be worth a try. If you’re an iOS user, I’d highly recommend you download this game.
Assetto Corsa Mobile will be available on the App Store on the 31st of August. The game will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
