Fortnite will soon be hosting its biggest in-game event since Travis Scott‘s glorious psychedelic astronomical marvel. The “Rift Tour” event will be running between 6th-8th August and will be headlined by none other than, Ariana Grande.
In the past as well, Epic Games has teamed up with several celebrated stars such as Popular DJ Marshmello, this show held in February 2019 raked in about 10 million people. In 2020, Epic Games partnered with Rapper Travis Scott and this show brought in 12 million people. Epic Games must be hoping for the same from this year’s “Rift Tour”. Considering Ariana Grande‘s immense popularity and fame, it seems like their expectations might be fulfilled!
Dates and showtime:
Epic Games announced that “Ensuring that fans around the world can catch the Rift Tour, the experience spans five showtimes over three days. We recommend fans arrive in Fortnite 60 minutes before showtime, and the Rift Tour Playlist should be live 30 minutes before each show. Before Ariana’s arrival, the Rift Tour kicks off with Fortnite-themed experiences — pairing popular tracks with moments based on elements from the game.”
The dates and times for the event are as follows:
- Show 1: Friday, 6th August at 6pm ET (The Americas)
- Show 2: Saturday, 7th August at 2pm ET (Global)
- Show 3: Sunday, 8th August at 12am ET (Asia and Oceania)
- Show 4: Sunday, 8th August at 10am ET (EU+ME)
- Show 5: Sunday, 8th August at 6pm ET (The Americas)
Along with attending the show for your region, you can also be a part of shows from another region. This can be done by changing your own region from the settings. Fortnite has also advised the players to be ready at least 60 minutes before the start of the event.
