One of the leading gaming companies in the world- Tencent Games has announced a new first-person mobile shooter game. The game titled ‘Arena Breakout’ was unveiled on 2nd August at the ChinaJoy 2021, which is Asia’s largest gaming expo and digital entertainment event. The conference event focuses on various prospects and dimensions of eSports and gaming.
However, there is no confirmation regarding the global title of the game yet, as the name, Arena Breakout is a translation of the originally announced Chinese name revealed by Tencent during the ChinaJoy 2021 event.
As the title suggests, Arena Breakout is an fps game with the player’s main objective to retreat from the battlefield successfully. The visuals that surfaced online suggest a dark ruinous gameplay experience. In simpler terms, this game will have features very unlikely to what most shooter games are yet to have. The game is supposed to give more attention in detail to 12 such physical features of the player and will have an injury system that’ll display the physical details of the player minutely covering out physical aspects like hunger, pain, limb injury, and other body part damage. The developers promise to keep the game realistic and engaging, also quoting, “Once failed, you will lose all the supplies you carry”, which can be interpreted as players having to start over if they fail to claim victory.
With this, Tencent puts forth its player base, a hardcore shooter game that will have highly flexible gameplay and weapon customization system.
A game that comes all the way from Tencent already sets the bar much higher, as players expect nothing less from the developers of the popular mobile title PUBG Mobile.
Beta Test and Release:
The game as of now is not available for beta trials globally and is scheduled to be released locally in China on August 12, 2021.
