As Apex Legends, one of the most long-anticipated battle royale games is gears up for its closed beta launches in multiple regions around the globe; with its most recent launch announcements for Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Originally released for PC and consoles, Re-spawn Entertainment is now venturing onto the Mobile platforms. Within a few months of that announcement, a handful of players from India and Singapore got early access to the game.
While the rest of the world waits for some news on the next region to get the closed beta of Apex Legends, new details have come to light. With IGN’s China YouTube channel releasing a new trailer a lot of new details have been revealed – a high-quality game-play, new characters, features, etc.
New Legends
The new trailer showcases the addition of 4 brand new Legends – Pathfinder, Crypto, Mirage, and Revenant. Previously there were only 8 playable characters in the game. Now with the addition of these 4 new characters to the beta release, the total number of playable characters are 12.

Higher gaming quality
The previous trailers showcased a game-play that was running at a rate of 30 fps, but the new trailer displays a game-play that seems to be at a rate of 60 fps, could even be higher; but nothing can be ascertained as no official reports have been released. The game-play handling seems to be pretty fluid according to early users.

Different perspectives in shooting modes
The trailer shows Apex Legends adapting to newer perspective of shooting modes, in addition to its fpp and tpp modes, it has added a new mode; the shoulder perspective. Usually when you are in the tpp mode and when you tap on the scope-in button; the game mode usually shifts to the fpp. But it seems they are adapting to the playing tactics similar to the likes of Fortnite; now when you press the scope button in tpp, the scope appears at the shoulder angle.
