The mobile version of Apex Legends was confirmed almost a year back, but when is it scheduled to release? Well, Electonic Arts have just officially announced an early access version of Apex Legends Mobile that would launch in just a couple of days. In addition to this announcement, more information regarding the mobile version of Apex Legends has been revealed. So let’s discuss it all.
What is Apex Legends Mobile?
Apex Legends Mobile is a new mobile battle royale game from Electronics Arts. It will be a free-to-play game with optional in-app purchases. The game is built on the Apex Legends IP, but since it is not a port, rather a dedicated mobile game – thus, it will be considered a separate game. (Just like how PUBG Mobile and PC works).
The game mechanics of the mobile version will be exactly the same as the PC version, where 20 squads of 3 players each jump into the battle to become the last team standing. EA has said that the control of Apex Legends Mobile has been properly optimized for the mobile platform, and therefore, the player should not have any trouble in enjoying the game to the fullest.
Apex Legends Mobile Early access
On its official website, Electronics arts has just announced that it will launch an early access version of Apex Legends Mobile in selected regions starting next week. The company has confirmed that a few selected players from India and the Philippines will access to Apex Legends Mobile at the end of April 2021. Then with time, this beta will expand to more regions.
Note: This early access version will be available only on the Android platform.
Apex Legends Mobile Pre-registration
Apex Legends Mobile is now available for Pre-registration on Google Play. EA has asked players to pre-registration for the game as only those who pre-registration will be eligible to access the beta version of Apex Legends Mobile.
Note: The game is not available for pre-registration on iOS. Even on google play, the game is not available for pre-registration in many regions.
When will Apex Legends Mobile release globally?
Electronic Arts have not stated anything with regards to the global release date of Apex Legends Mobile. But according to some rumors, the game should be released globally in Q4 2021.
