If you have been following MobileGamingHub for quite some time, you already know that our predictions have almost always turned out to be precisely on point. Last year we shared a list of 9 features that are to be added to Among Us soon. And guess what? Most of these features have already been added in Among Us, and for the rest, the developers have today officially announced that they would soon be adding features like Hide and seek mode, 15 player lobbies, achievements, player roles, and much more to the game.
Among Us developers have shared the roadmap for the upcoming updates
Innersloth the developers of much popular Among Us, took to their official website to share the roadmap for the upcoming updates with the fans. The roadmaps confirm a lot of features that the fans have been asking for over a year now. A list of features that have been confirmed to be added soon to the game is attached below.
- A new map – Yes, a brand new 5th map is in development.
- Achievements
- Account linking between platforms – so that you can switch between devices without any hassle.
- New roles and ways to play
- Hide n’ Seek mode
- Visor cosmetics
- Consoles – Launch of Among Us on Xbox and Play Station.
- 15 player lobbies with more color.
Note: Innersloth has merely confirmed that these features will be added to the game in the future. However, when will these features will be added to the game has not yet been officially confirmed. But just like we predicted, we still expect that all the players will get to experience all these features in the game before the end of 2021.
Also, the developer has confirmed that the very next update in the game will bring in 15 player lobbies with more colors. So if you wanted to play with more of your friends in the same lobby, or you wanted more color options, then you are in luck.
What are we excited about?
Well, I am on a break from Among Us. I was a little bored with the same repetitive gameplay. Also, please don’t bully me for this, but I wasn’t really impressed with the New airship map. But I think I will rejoin the game once New Roles (Such as sheriff, scientist, etc.) are added to the game. I am super hyped for the Hide n’ Seek mode too. What about you guys?
