Age of Empires is a timeless classic every gamer has played through at least once. Either reference, recommendation, or just sheer coincidence every player has spent hours building their village to perfection along with attacking other villages and gaining loot for their own village as well. However, the Age of the empire was limited to PC and console games for a long time. But the time Age of Empire was introduced on a smaller scale may have finally arrived.
Daniel Ahmad on Twitter announced that there is an adaption of the Age of empires in works being released in China. There isn’t any confirmation of this game being a direct descendant of the series however fans are excited regardless to see their Favourite game having an adaptation with easier on hands accessibility and it is named “Return To Empire“
Return To Empire – remake or a new game?
Return To Empire is developed by Tencent’s Timi studio group. With relatively similar designs of the previous games but we might not be seeing a direct sequel to the game rather a mobile version of the same game with the same graphics, mechanics, the money system, maps, interactive environments, etc. This does not steal the glory of this game in any way.
But there hasn’t been any confirmation of the game releasing outside of china. The game is set to release by the end of the year in China, and no news has been covered of it being released in other countries. with the gameplay yet to be published we can only wait to get our hands on this new entry. you can watch the trailer for the game on Youtube & Twitter. This can be a new experience for gamers with the classic real-time strategy-based game.
Along with that, we can keep checking the official website of the game for updates. The game also looks astoundingly well with the Medival Eastern & Western Europe’s touch to it. Keeping in mind we might have to wait for the international launch after it’s released in China.
