Electronic Arts is all set to launch the Apex Legends Mobile version this year. The company has already announced an early access version of Apex Legends Mobile to release later this month. But what comes as a surprise is that EA has just announced that it will be bringing Battlefield (the much-loved first-person shooter video game series) to the mobile platform soon.
Battlefield mobile game announced
On the official website of EA, an update was published by the company announcing that both Dice and EA wanted to bring the Battlefield to the mobile platform for a very long time. The battlefield mobile game has already been in work for quite some time, and it is being developed by Industrial Toys, an American gaming studio that focuses entirely on mobile shooter games.
However, not many details have been revealed about this upcoming Battlefield mobile game. All we know for now is that it will be a standalone game just like Apex Legends Mobile, meaning that it will be built on the Battlefield IP but will have no direct connection with any of the Battlefield PC and Console games. And it will be available to play on both Android and iOS devices. The company has also mentioned that they are focusing on the tablets too, meaning iPad users can also expect to have some good experience.

About the monetization method, Battlefield mobile game will be completely free to play. Oskar Gabrielson, General Manager DICE, has already confirmed that there will be no pay to win elements in the game. He said that the players can expect a fully-fledged, skill-based experience.
When will the Battlefield mobile game release?
EA has announced that they will globally launch Battlefield Mobile in 2022. However, the game will enter the testing phase in the next few months, meaning that players can get a chance to get their hand on the game as its closed beta version is expected to release in few selected regions very soon.
