Activision Blizzard is developing a Warcraft Mobile game slated for release in 2022. Warcraft fans can now play the game across Mobile devices as Blizzard announces the release of one of its biggest games on Mobile this year. Previously, there was a rumour going around during early 2021 regarding Blizzard’s developments on new mobile games which eventually turned out to be true.

It was revealed in Activision Blizzard’s 4th Quarter 2021 earnings report, where Blizzard confirmed a new Warcraft Mobile title.
The press release also quotes, “planning substantial new content for the Warcraft franchise in 2022, including new experiences in World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, and getting all-new mobile Warcraft content into players’ hands for the first time,”
That being mentioned, Warcraft fans can expect a similar experience from the upcoming Warcraft title on Mobile. However, this isn’t the only time Blizzard has mentioned a Warcraft Mobile title. Last year, Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick also said that they were working on “multiple, mobile, free-to-play Warcraft experiences” which is eventually proven to current dates.

For all those who are still unaware of what Warcraft is, Warcraft is a long-time existing franchise first introduced around 25 years ago and continues to be one of the most popular video game franchises to date. ‘World of Warcraft’ an MMORPG game released in the year 2004 is one of the highly acclaimed games from the franchise with players from all across the globe still participating.
Presently, only Hearthstone has made its way to mobile from the Warcraft Universe. Hence, players eagerly anticipate the arrival of Blizzard’s latest Warcraft title.
What do we know about the upcoming title?
There is still a lot of confusion as Blizzard has not given any clarity on the game’s genre or concept. However, it could be some strategy-based action game or something entirely different than what players can expect.
