With the ever-growing technology, the gaming industry keeps growing day by day. This year too, we were not disappointed. We got some amazing new games with unique concepts. Here are five new games which I found most entertaining and engaging.
1 Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!
Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! has just been released globally. It has already set new records of downloads on the mobile platform. It is an endless running action game starring some of the most beloved characters in the history of the video game. The game is very similar to Temple Run and Subway Surfers, where the crash automatically runs on one of the three lanes, and as the player, you have to switch lanes, jump or slide to avoid obstacles.
2 There is No Game: Wrong Dimension
There is No Game: Wrong Dimension is actually a premium game, released in December 2020. But I still wanted to include it in this list. The idea of this game is so unique and so engaging. I wanted to play the game as soon as I heard about it, and the game did not disappoint. As the game title suggests, the game tries to convince you that there is no game and you should quit. There are various hidden puzzles that we have to solve to go forward. The funniest part is you have no idea what you have to do or where you have to look. And the constantly distracting and demotivating comments from the game don’t help either!
3 Cobra Kai: Card Fighter
Cobra Kai: Card fighter, as the name suggests, is a card game based on the popular Netflix TV series Cobra Kai. The game is free-to-play with optional in-app purchase options. Cobra Kai: Card Fighter is a story-based game, and it brings together two of the most favorite characters from the first two seasons of Cobra Kai and tells the story from two different perspectives. You can choose to either help Jonny Lawrence rebuild Cobra Kai or work with LaRusso to resurrect Miyagi-Do. Or even both! I can definitely assure you that playing this game is a lot of fun, and if you have watched the series, you are sure to have some déjà vu moments.
4 MARVEL Realm of Champions
Marvel Realm of Champions from Kabam Games is a marvel character-based superhero game released in the last few days of last year. But it’s so good that we had to add it to our list. In his game, you can choose and customize your favorite marvel character. You can select various gears and weapons suitable to your character. The graphics of the game are phenomenal. You can play in multiple modes like arena, deathmatch, Onslaught events, and limited-time World Quests. Arena involves 3v3 competitive battles and has some epic rewards for winners. In deathmatch, you brawl for supremacy in all-out mayhem. Overall, the game is quite engaging and worth checking out.
5 Warhammer Odyssey
Warhammer Odyssey, launched by Virtual Realms, is a classic MMORPG game. The unique thing about the game is that there is a lot less auto-playing in comparison to other MMORPG games. The game graphics are very aesthetic, and the gameplay has almost everything related to the Warhammer universe. The only problem is that the character’s movement feels a bit slow. To conclude, Warhammer Odyssey is an excellent MMORPG game, and you’ll definitely have fun playing it.
