A year ago, Activision decided to remove Zombie mode from Call of Duty Mobile. The decision was made because the mode was not able to meet the expectations of the developers. However, Activision has now announced to bring back an updated version of the mode in the game, so Yes! Zombie Mode is coming back to Call of Duty Mobile.
Activision announced the return of Zombie mode in COD Mobile
In the recent community update posted by Activision, they have shared a lot about the new updates and features of Call of Duty Mobile. However, the highlight of the announcement was obviously, the return of Call of Duty Mobile Zombie mode.
If you remember, at the time of removing zombie mode, the developer said they are taking it down temporarily; they will improve it and re-launch it someday. However, it took quite a long time as the developer were busy with features like the gunsmith, and then pandemic also delayed it. But nonetheless, Zombie mode is finally coming, and it’s just a few days away.
In the announcement, Activision has said that ‘Shi No Numa’ the original Zombie Map, will be added to the Chinese version of COD Mobile in the next few days. And then, soon, the Zombie mode will be added to the global version of the game. The developer has also shared a teaser of the upcoming COD Mobile zombie mode, which you can have a look at below.
When will Zombie mode return to COD Mobile?
Unfortunately, Activision has not given an exact date or release for the mode. They have just mentioned that the Zombie Mode will be released in the COD Mobile global version later this year. Some rumors suggest that it will be released as early as in Season 3, but that’s just rumors.
